THE STORY
Cenna and her husband have always been the center of the family. When an accident takes the patriarch, three generations of women must come together to decide what to do with the failing farm. Their daughter, Diana suffers from low self-esteem and alcohol abuse. Living off of Cenna, Diana tries to live up to the memory of the son that died by fixing things around the house, bringing comic relief to dark times. Their granddaughter, Lyn seemed to have escaped the depression of middle-American farm life. She married well and moved to the city to have children. When the family reunite for the grandfather’s funeral, it becomes apparent that abuse roots run deep. Will there be anything left between these women when the crows come?
This two-act rural drama echoes the works of David Lynch and Sam Shepard.
