C.M. built “Lopdolls” as play props for her play, Ice Scream Theater. The dolls built from trash and household items were inspired by “Keeper of the Lops,” her poem about her childhood experiences living in a drug house with her mother’s friends, the lops (loser’s on parade, loser’s on parole, lackey’s on parole).
