Ice Scream Theater “Lopdolls” series completed

C.M. built “Lopdolls” as play props for her play, Ice Scream Theater. The dolls built from trash and household items were inspired by “Keeper of the Lops,” her poem about her childhood experiences living in a drug house with her mother’s friends, the lops (loser’s on parade, loser’s on parole, lackey’s on parole). Begging Man with Woman who is Clearly Bored, a dark romantic comedy in two-acts by C.M. Soto, was produced at Eastern Oregon University’s No Name Theater. The play was directed by Patrick Dizney and starred Nolan White, Kevin Combs, Jacob Zechman, and Anna Oester.
